However you may be on to something. Maybe we should fear universal health care, social security, a well-funded education system and programs to strengthen our economy and make America a competitive world work force, since those sound so much worse than the alternative. Some would disagree with you. They’d say we have nothing to fear but fear itself. That your overly simplified “FEAR OF THE LIBERALS” is hopelessly outdated, and that you’re a relic of a political era that is damn near dead. They may also suggest that you likely don’t know a Liberal from a horses ass and probably have no idea that Ronald Reagan was an FDR Democrat. Those people would be wrong right?

They’re wrong because you’re not some low-income rank and file Republican who blindly follows a party that dangles phony issues like abortion and “values” in front of your face while helping to cut your wages, increase your productivity, cut your child’s education and make Social Security non-existant by the time your retire? No you’re one of the rich people that actually IS making money in the Republican system right? You may pay lip service to the causes of the religious while it helps keep your profits up and your expenses low, however you have no interest in understanding the realities of human life and are hopelessly out of touch with the way REAL people live their day to day lives? You may know that Jesus said a rich man has no chance of getting into heaven but you don’t care, all that is just used to pacify the idiots who keep the party that makes you even richer firmly in power. Never mind the fact that when the Republicans lose power you’ll likely start sucking up to the Democrats. You’ll always be a Republican at heart, right?

Hopefully you’re the second one, since while it is still an image of hypocrisy, selfishness and greed it at least shows that you have a brain and are pragmatic about exploiting the weakness in humans. Because if you are the first one, well, just know that a lot of people got rich convincing you that your political voice should not be used to defend your family from the corporations, it should be used to defend the corporations from your family. Which makes about as much sense as a chicken with two heads.

Hmmm, let’s see here, more of the Republicans? More greed, more scandals, more bribes and money laundering? More bridges to nowhere and laws to protect the credit card companies (since they’re hurting so bad)? More of the decline in our education system? More of the decline in our health care system? More 4 dollar gasoline? More images of dead children and naked Arab men being forced to do sadistic things? More American soldiers coming home in flag-draped coffins?

At this point, I think I’d have to go with the complete opposite.
