The Right is Writing Enemy Lists Again and Why Watching Rachel Maddow Can Get You On It

Rachel Maddow

Rachel Maddow is on the Right-Wing’s enemies list.

As the right continues its path towards moral bankruptcy, the rapid decline of the intellectual right (fast becoming an oxymoron) is also becoming apparent. Yesterday, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, issued a warning to her viewers: Watching her show could get you on a GOP enemies list!

Without smart people, the obvious objective of conservatism loses its facade and their ultimate objective of turning the Federal Government into a cash register that spends nothing on its inhabitants and lets the rich get away with everything, just as it did in the 19th Century, becomes stunningly clear.

When this happens, the Right turns into a bunch of bitter, angry rich people who call the middle-class lazy and bully anyone that stands in their way with every ounce of power they have. They will write up lists, wave blank pieces of paper in the air and scream about an invisible enemy that is infiltrating our water supply to gain control of our precious bodily fluids, to parody the satirical Dr. Strangelove.

It is this sort of attitude that can only come from people who are used to getting their way. The common person Tea Party candidates are mostly millionaires and businessmen in power blinded by some sort of fantasy chair, offered to them by the Koch Brothers, and grand delusions of Mr. Smith’s journey. Yet instead of fighting the deforesting, they are actually fighting for it.

The GOP has dropped its mask of sanity and the ugly face of a hideous democracy chomping monster is revealed. Fangs snarling, foam spraying and chewing away at the Constitution for personal gain.

Am I intimidated?

No.
