Our dear friend and RNC chairman Micheal Steele today is facing another crisis. Politico is reporting that a mailer sent out by the RNC, disguised to look like a Census form (get the joke? wow the right has such a weak sense of humor), accidentally contained a return number that connects directly to a phone sex line.
Simply dial up the RNC contact number to be greeted with “live, one-on-one talk with a nasty girl who will do anything you want for just $2.99 per minute.”
I know that the RNC is having trouble raising money but this is ridiculous! Having to resort to hot nasty girls to do the bidding of major corporations and the super rich elite is a new low, even for Republicans.
Just imagine the conversation:
“Oh yeah baby! I’ll do anything you want! Oh wow, you’re so hard big daddy! Why don’t you come a little closer, there’s something I wanna whisper in your ear: Barrack Obama is a socialist who wants to destroy freedom and your way of life by sticking the long arm of the government down your throat. Which reminds me big daddy, you can do to me too! Why don’t you stick your long arm of government….”
Ok, Ok, you get the message.
Poor Micheal Steele. Apparently the Cenus forms were an unpopular idea among his Right Wing peers. He claimed he would be proven right by meeting & exceeding fund-raising goals. Turns out the only one he is raising money for is the sex industry. Now he’s taking it a both ends (no pun intended), embattled by allegations of reaching out to potential fundraisers in a West Hollywood lesbian bondage strip club, he’s getting hammered by tea baggers (wow the puns just keep coming (yet again)) on the right and ridiculed by everyone else to the left. Sarah Palin is even uninviting herself from an RNC event and distancing herself from her sex-crazed colleagues.
The funny part is, Palin is a total moron. Without the RNC, Republican politician-grade candidates will be underfunded. This will leave the slurry of tea-baggers to fill in the gaps. These local yokels are under-funded, under-qualified and under massive pressure to perform in a world they barely understand.
Palin’s reputation is at stake in this election. So far, her candidates are failing to make the primaries with as many as 5 tea partiers running in a single primary. This is dividing the field and wasting money. In the end. They will be forced to embrace the viable Republican candidates, like Scott Brown, who is now reviled as a RINO (Republican in name only).
In short, Palin and Steele have just opened up the race to Democrats.
The momentum is shifting. Obama is emboldened and the base is getting revved up again. I imagine this will only increase as open racism is beginning to surface on the right and the political landscape gets overrun with redneck trailer trash who are whining about, wait, what is it that their fighting for again?
Who knows.
All I can gather is that they don’t like taxes. Other than that what they’re REALLY fighting for is tax-cuts for the rich a bankrupt social security and Medicare system (which many of these tea-baggers are on) and a bankrupt federal government that will have to cut services to those same people. They also seem to love the banks, insurance companies and corporations in general as they side with big business like little naive pawns in a game that is clearly too complex for their little brainwashed minds to comprehend. Poor souls, they’re just to easy to control. These yahoos are the real April fools.
Too bad it hurts the rest of us.
