What is funniest of all is the fevered pitch that many of these idiots are taking. They are openly calling for a revolution in this country and/or Civil War, by drawing up secession petitions, stock piling weapons and using hateful language directed at their fellow countrymen. Oh and by the way, if the gov’ment comes under attack from a bunch of dumb rednecks with AR-15s, guess who they will be using the AR-15s on? The troops. That’s right, these weapons, and the civil war these guys are fighting in their minds, will end up killing the troops they supposedly love so much.

Unfortunately for them, this only scares people away even more. Sure this stuff may play well in the rural Red State areas, yet in suburbia in places like Atlanta, Northern Virginia, Cleveland  Northern Indiana and St. Louis, these radicals have put Republicans in very tough spots, forcing them to take the new NRA hard-line that contradicts the old NRA that once thought background checks was a good idea.

The NRA once did care about letting only sane people get weapons. Today, the NRA’s biggest clients are very scary people who talk about murdering people in their blogs. What do you need the guns for? Because the government might take them away? Why not just lighten up a bit? You aren’t going to go hunting with a Bushmaster or an AR-15. There would be nothing left to take home but a pile of led and goo.

The NRA clearly cares more today about selling guns then about the people who buy them. The sad part is, they have made out like bandits during Obama scaring people about an invisible boogey man, which has created a real boogey man, that kills 30,000 people a year, which must be stopped.

These guys will never get that they have been played like a fiddle, though in the end, the crazier they look, that won’t matter.
